Canadian TV show 'Continuum'

I'm not sure this warrants it's own thread, but Daniel and several others here have such a rich appreciation of science fiction movies and shows, I thought I'd go ahead...

There is a fantastic, newish show, now available on (streaming) Netflix, called 'Continuum'. It involves time travel as well as lots of future tech - definitely enough to make up for the occasionally stiff performances by a generally likeable cast.

If anyone here has seen it or checks it out, I'd love to hear what you think. The main character - the hero, I guess you'd call her - works for the corporate congress. (Private corporations have taken over completely by 2077). And the 'bad guys' are the terrorists who work to oppose the loss of liberties, freedoms and all that the near-complete hegemony of the corporate congress has wrought. I think it's brilliant, because it really challenges the viewer to get beyond his/her conditioning and question the whole setup.

Anyway, with so much chaos, change, division and the lot in the world today,it feels a bit petty to post here about a TV show. But I'm only barely able to keep up with the RS science - certainly not enough to add to that dialogue, and I do like this forum, so...

On another note, I want to chime in with other bloggers here who have voiced their gratitude and support of Daniel's herculean article writing efforts. I've read every one more than once, and find them all enlightening, fascinating and thought provoking. I always plan on commenting more in the forum, but again, my grasp of the technical side is so tenuous, I tend to err on the side of lurking. Alas.

I've seen every episode of that series, its ok as entertainment. Doesn't teach much about science to my knowledge, time travel thing is fascinating but quite impossible to actually do it, or be long time in the past. At least that is what I've come to understand about RS/RS2 so, thats my opinion.

Also that series is going to have 6 more episodes in 4th season and then it ends. Don't know when it continues though.
