Opinions on the Conscious Hugs blog?

I've always stuck the forums before but read the conscious hugs blog today. While there's interesting perspectives in there, I can't identify with the general sentiment of the blog. Would love to hear what the forum-dwellers here think of it. What you like, don't like, why, why not. Am I just squimish or is there some understandably spicy stuff that makes my mental stomach just want to run for the loo and scream "never again!".

It took me a while to notice that the blog had started some regular posts but what has been added is very interesting and I find it gives a nice balance to the fluffy good news that DW brings to the table.
I can get quite down sometimes with all the war mongering and pain in society, constant chem-crap going on in the sky (which is why I started my blog and speaking openly about it to try and wake people up to the truth) and so much more. At first DW's articles would give me a bit of hope and make me feel like things will improve but his missing out key info and ignoring the unpleasant black puzzle pieces (such as Geoengineering) was eating away at me and only after reading some of Ken's posts on the blog along with Aaron's comments and other info from Daniel and the forum did it become clear.
I have always been a very logical person with lots of common sense but mixed with a good spiritual outlook and trust of my intuition, like most of us on the forum which is why I think we have all found our way here. Yeah there are some tough things to read on the blog but you can only have a balanced full viewpoint if you have all the angles and evidence that you can get. I have found myself checking it more often and enjoying a more realistic outlook on what's happening compared to the likes of Benjamin Fulford who gives you a little info then wants cash to read more, or DW doing his end of Mayan calendar thing once more but I can understand why the blog may make you feel like running!
We've been promised change and good news by so many different people for so long and it's just not been happening so it's time for us to do it ourselves!!

Maybe I can get this off my chest and bounce it off you guys to get some constructive criticism on my point of view.
I know I don't have a lot of facts on our history but I do have a lot of experiences that just don't add up to the stereotyped "all religions are only to manipulate and control" sentiment.
Maybe its because the vast majority of any religious exposure that people get are the dull empty "rules and rites" stuff where people get intimidated into buying into stuff or face the big shunning out the door. But why does it necessarily mean that ALL beliefs are ALL bad just because of some spiritual leaders or whatnots that are either clueless about what they do or consciously doing bad things?
What about all those that never try to shove their beliefs down others throats yet are very legitimate spiritual people (and advocating a specific "religion"), what about the lives they change for the better, helping people overcome personal self-centeredness and grow into more mature people? What about the supernatural gifts they have and use for others' gain and never their own, not even asking for money or anything in return? It just seems to me that the blogger has no experience about these and just shoots it all down as one big pile of bullcrap manipulative agendas, making even the 'good guys' seem like hapless victims of the ultimate conspiracy.
I don't see the difference between the stereotyping criticism that the blogger uses in this case and the stereotyping that any immature person does.
No matter how scary the majority of certain things are (facts, reality), that is never grounds for just condemning a whole category of people or approach to spirituality. Let me put it another way; does it really feel fair when there's a lot of us humans who would love, honor, and respect other sentient races, yet when those races just judge all humans as warmongering self-centered polluters, we complain about it? Or how about this; If we say we don't want to choose between "light" and "dark" because there's an alternative, yet just take anyone that wants nothing to do with the 'dark' and judge them as stupid sheep for running to the "light" - well what does that make us? What makes us any better? We're just creating another bandwagon and yelling that people need to jump off other ones and onto ours.
For instance, I find it interesting that despite most people THINKING that most religions promise some external savior, that most religions actually spend almost no time talking about depending on said saving and almost all the time talking about living like you care about your fellow human, nature, and of course, aspiring to higher maturity (stuff like forgiveness, selfless compassion, wisdom, etc.). I don't know materials from other religions well, but having grown up in a christian environment I can give an example from that religion. In the new testament of the bible, jesus told people that if there's unresolved anger/issues between them and a fellow human being, that they should stop praying, leave their stuff at the temple, and first go make right. The message is simple - if you can't love your brother that you can see, how can you say that you love a god that you can't see?
Now explain to me how the hell stuff like that (and there's a lot of stuff like that, in all religions, e.g. do to others what you want done unto yourself) ties into the whole super scary conspiracy of all religions being puppet strings to just control people?
Sorry, but I don't see why anyone should agree with that sentiment. I think its misleading (choc full of half truths) and hypocritical (because its making fanatical statements while criticizing other fanatics). I'm not saying it doesn't have facts in it. I'm saying it's talking about not buying into a deception (and there is real deception of that nature that exists) but does so by creating another deception (that all beliefs are tools of manipulation).
Perhaps I can conclude with an example about why I suspect this prejudice against religion exists among a lot of intelligent people. Rick Joyner (some christian writer and church leader) wrote about a vision in one of his books of seeing how 80% of the "devil's army" actually consisted of christians being ridden by demons as if they were horses. These christians were prideful, judgemental and manipulative - some even using christianity simply to promote themselves into positions of fame and fortune. But in this vision, there were also a lot of those that weren't deceived into being part of that army and wasn't being used by "the devil", but were in fact fighting the spiritual forces driving that army. So you see, you can't just pick a few bad apples (in anything in the world or in life) and decide they're all the same.

Indeed I like to think this way also since there are so many of us. Various people with various agendas and every single one is unique on its own way, no one is the same as other, not even clones(talking about little as atomic level now).
Btw on other thread I wrote about this documentary I saw yesterday and I was amazing, its called Kumare, tells about this guy who made up a character and started imposing as a Guru. Reminds me about this actual movie called "The Guru (2002)" similar thing and also quite good entertainment even though got 5,3 stars on IMDB. However the documentary is even better than that movie.

Infinity, maybe every thing is being ridden, by something or another. Now, that is neither subject to facts, or allegory, or physical space, or time. The thing itself has a dynamic structure, feeds on itself, so powerful that the placebos make most everything. What is interesting is the powerful, and the weak are trying to forge some balance into this damned War.
Those that do not remember, they want to change. Those that have remembered, do not want to fight forever.
I do not think the Creator grows tired, any more than the created tire of breathing. Maybe the complexity is sort of a hurt.
I do not think the simple, easy stuff is gone, just getting squeezed into time, and that will provide a very small door, not escape, just the important stuff having parlay at the table. That is secret agent stuff, it hurts, we all know how this story begins, and ends, with identity, and venom.
