The Ancients

The Antiquatis Institute is dedicated to the research and understanding of the Elder Race and their ancestors, the Antiquus, otherwise known as the Titans, Ancients, Els, L-Race, First Ones, or Cyclopeans.

The idea of an Elder Race was first introduced by author and global explorer George Hunt Williamson (1926-1986) as a name for the native inhabitants of Earth, as compared to two other groups, Transplants and Wanderers. The latter two groups were popularized by the Ra Material, channeled by Carla Rueckert under the questioning of the late Don Elkins in the early 1980s.

We of the Antiquatis Institute are continuing the research into the Elder Race and their ancestors, in an attempt to reconstruct what we believe to be a more accurate picture of the development of mankind on Earth, along with reconstruction of the mythos and technology of the Antiquus.

A Slightly Different History of Man on Earth

Many researchers are trying to locate the origins of man, whether they were an evolutionary process, created spontaneously by a god, migrated from another world, visiting from another world, or constructed by “aliens” as a genetic experiment. They all appear to proceed from the assumption that man has a singular origin which applies to everyone.

The Ra Material, also known as the Law of One, took a different approach by stating that the Earth was populated by “all of the above”:

• A native race, the product of evolution—the Elder Race
• Entire civilizations brought to Earth, whose home worlds were no longer able to support their form of life—the Transplants
• A group of 100 million or more souls who are visiting Earth, trying to help with spiritual growth—the Wanderers

According to Ra, a group known as the Guardians were responsible for transplanting the civilizations from some 16 other worlds to Earth, where they now exist as major socio-cultural divisions. This was accomplished by the temporary creation of a Social Memory Complex, that preserved their mind and spiritual essences for transport across interstellar distances, and were incarnated into human bodies, giving the appearance of being created by gods or “aliens.”

The Ra also indicate that there may be some truth to the “genetic engineering” of humanity, where the existing human form of a Neanderthal-type man was modified to accommodate a spirit that was more advanced than the current ape-descended life on Earth was capable of handling, particularly in the area of verbal communication. This would account for the so-called “missing link”.

So, rather than having a single version of creation mythos, the people of Earth may have as many as 17 different stories, from the evolution of the Elder Race, the creation by gods of the Transplants, and the extraterrestrial origin of the Wanderers.

Part of the work being done in the Antiquatis Institute is to sort out who’s who, and what’s what.

Legacy of the Antiquus

The Antiquatis Institutes primary focus is the Elder Race, whom are still alive and well on Earth, and the legacy left by their forefathers, the Antiquus (or Ancients). Part of this legacy is the “Little Red Schoolhouse”, which we now refer to as the Archive of the Ancients and is a record of the journeys and knowledge of this ancient race, and how they achieved ascendancy into the Theta Universe.
