Social Memory Complex

Post by Kano » Fri Feb 08, 2013 3:49 pm

Thought I'd go ahead and start a thread on the concept of social memory complexes. It is a fascinating topic and one I have heard Daniel and Bruce talk about in the past. I have just started Rudolph Steiner's "Cosmic Memory" which I understand goes into this concept. Daniel has made some very interesting comments to me on SMC's about those of us who are seekers and free-thinkers who have found our own unique ways to this site and these people. I hope that he and Bruce will take more of a deep dive about this topic as I believe it is one that applies to all who are reading this.

As I continue reading Steiner's book, I will continue to add more to this thread in hopes of developing a meaningful discourse on what SMC's are, how they come into being, and what their purposes are.

I hope everyone is well.

The references to a Social Memory Complex comes from the Ra Material (the Law of One stuff).

There are two types if psionic networks, the first stems from 2nd density "group mind," that Jung defines as a layer of collective unconscious. Jung and Freud did not agree on the nature of the collective unconscious; Freud preferring to lump it all into one bag, whereas Jung saw it more as a network of overlapping bubbles that influenced people. Personally, I agree with Jung. This group mind has priority over any individual and accounts for things like herd behavior in animals, school behavior in fish and flock behavior in birds. When you watch them move, they move as a single organism--the consciousness is distributed non-locally among them. The loss of an individual means nothing, as they are just a generic part of a greater whole and it is that "whole" that must survive. The group has precedence over the individual part, like blades of grass of a lawn.

3rd density is where life separates from this collective behavior of the group mind, and becomes individual. Ever see a flock of eagles? The family group takes precedence over the collective unconscious, and creatures start to think for themselves. And when they do, they come to a consciousness of "self" that we call the "Ego," and since the survival of an individual now matters, the sense of self-preservation (and ego-centrism) kick in.

When people do not embrace their individuality (unique identity), they tend to fall back on 2nd density ways, and seek "socialization" and the approval of groups to justify their existence, because that was what was comfortable and familiar to their subconscious minds. Transition from a 2nd density mindset to full 3rd density is usually accompanied by the idea of self-sufficiency. The "alpha male" concept arises from this 2nd-to-3rd density transition, where the bulk of the mindset is still 2nd density, and a self-aware entity steps forward in order to assist the transition to 3rd density. (Unfortunately, this does not always work.)

The social memory complex, the SMC, is created when 3rd-density individuals begin to work together towards common goals, as a free-will choice. The result of conscious interaction develops conscious psionic ability, not the group mind "sensing" that is normally accepted as psychic skill. Each individual's survival is important to the survival of the SMC as a whole--the individual has precedence over the group. To the best of my knowledge and research, it is this is what creates the bridge to 4th density--it does not happen "auto-magically." The SMC is a natural part of 4th density consciousness, so if people refuse to work together in conscious cooperation, then I don't really see any way they can ascend to anything beyond 3rd density, because they are essentially making a free-will choice to stay 3D.

Very good expression of the "3D-to-4D" roadmap. Just something that I always felt and also came to this by deep considerations. Thanks!

The question naturally arises about "who was the first to achieve a 4th density SMC?" which is like asking, "who was the first kindergartener to get a university degree?" From what I can determine, 4th density cannot be achieved on an individual basis, it must be an aggregate function that uses the building blocks of individuated consciousness.

Something that I've noticed in the structure of the universe is that complexity increases. Photons evolve to positrons, which evolve to neutrinos, which evolve to protons, which evolve to atoms, which evolve to life units (cells), which evolve to ethical units. Since the chemical system underlies both the structure of dimension and density, the same kind of rules apply:

1st density: inanimate, chemical interactions (corpus: material OR cosmic)

2nd density: animate, biological interactions (anima: material AND cosmic); cosmic linkage creates temporal non-locality and group mind. A relationship of one mind to many bodies, 1:n. When something dies, it gets "trashed."

3rd density: spiritual, intellectual interactions (animus: life + ethics); the advent of consciousness and conscience. Purpose of this density is to individuate; to remove from the 1:n relationship to 1:1 (ego), a type of crossing of the unit boundary. Reincarnation; when something dies, it gets recycled. But like all recycling, only a portion can be used in its next "incarnation," so there is a veil of forgetting.

4th density: ethical (ethica); ethics linkage creates a "life" non-locality where knowledge and experience can be shared; the Social Memory Complex.

When atomic systems reach their maximum level of complexity, they form aggregates--molecules--larger, and more complex structures to keep on growing and interacting. To me, it seems logical that the 3rd density is a similar system, the individuals (atoms), in order to keep growing, must going together in complexes (molecules), to create an organism (which is why an SMC is considered "intelligent.")

So, ascension cannot be done as an individual... it must be done as an aggregate. That aggregate can be the "default" level of the planet; Earth and everything on it ascends to the 4th density. OR, it could be done consciously, with intent, by a group that saw the system and chose to ascend together, like the "brotherhood" of the Elder Race did, as mentioned in the Ra Material.

Apologies for not reporting back on this thread like I had originally intended. Life has started to come at me faster than ever. Right now I'm just trying to keep up with my mandatory responsibilities with little to no time for extracurricular. Anyway, Daniel, Bruce, Aaron, Ole, Aurora, I hope you all are well.

All is well here too. Life is happening very quickly and though I feel I am doing better at controlling what consumes my time, I still feel there is not enough time to maintain my health and do everything I need and want to. I am also going to have to start recording my dreams as has been suggested, they are now happening on a whole different level, wow.

I noticed that kidney stones don't move too quickly like everything else in life has been. OUCH! lol. Just finished reading Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged as quickly as I could so I am sure I missed out on some of the concepts of her beliefs. Written a year before I was born and she is very accurately describing society as a whole. "Who is John Galt?" I think I am in love!

Anyway, this book is for me what "Lost Horizons" is for Bruce. Odd, the book had me in tears as I realized how most of my life I have tried so hard to fit in with those around me. I always thought there was something wrong with me, that I was odd or something. Now I know I am. I didn't fit in because I can think beyond what the majority of our population are capable. I care about many things and understand on a deeper level as well. Here I thought I had comprehension issues and the reality is I always want to know why things are done a certain way or how something works and then find where the concepts and ideas can relate or interact with one another to take it to the next level.

I miss the interaction with everyone here and yet I have not been faithful to coming online. I hope everyone's research is progressing. Take care all!

I've heard recently that internal stones are the body's way of dealing with parasites, by encasing them in calcium and removing the colony in one shot. Don't know if it is true, but it is an interesting thesis.

I have the book, but never got around to reading it, as it was a rather long novel. What is the plot line?

That is the crux of the matter, isn't it? That is one of the issues the NWO may have right... people aren't thinking and acting like intelligent, compassionate creatures. They are just out there, breeding like rabbits, consuming resources, polluting the environment, and overrunning the planet. The world population has more than doubled, just in our lifetime. If we had a society of artists, musicians, poets, scientists, spiritualists... it would be one thing, but considering 85% of all internet traffic is related to pornography... sometimes, I find myself in agreement with the NWO.

I've been going over Eric Dollard's research in detail. Some interesting stuff there. Will be posting it on RS2.
