The Veil of Forgetting

The Solar Logos had designed the planetary systems such that the entities that evolve derive the maximum benefit of a free will environment, and one of the most effective ways to do that was through veiling in 3^rd density.

The late 2^nd density entities did not experience the separation between themselves, the planet and the Logos as acutely as those in 3^rd density; they had access to the racial mind, the mind of Earth, and that of the Logos. All the archetypes of the creation were expressed naturally… the entities KNEW that they were One. To this day it is observed that animals never resort to war in case of territorial disputes – inter-species conflicts are kept to a minimum.

With the start of third density, the Veil fell… and over a short period of time, the entities were disconnected from their heritage. Past life memories were no longer as accessible as they were before the veiling, and the expressions of the Archetypes (see Psychology) were pushed over to what can now be called the unconscious. This made for some rigorous coursework for the third density entities, for example:

• Screening off the memories of past lives meant that the focus was entirely on the present incarnation, and lessons learned in the previous lives lingered on in the unconscious.
• For the first time, faith came into the picture… there was no perceivable evidence for the power of free will: hence the ideal environment for exercising it.
• The sense of separation induced by the veiling meant that individuality had to be addressed, as opposed to the ‘group mind’ of 2^nd density.
• Working out the unconscious contents of their psyche via conscious choices offers a tremendous opportunity for personal growth

Hence, the idea is simple: first the differentiation (veiling) and then the integration.

What exactly IS the Veil Of Forgetting? An examination of peak experiences provides the clue – that the veil is the production of chemical inhibitors in the brain that blocks access to a certain section of memories and experience. The veil can be lifted either by consuming psychoactive chemicals (as is practiced in shamanic rituals), or by directing the Kundalini upwards through the Chakras (preferred by Eastern sages), which overcomes the blockages. Or, of course, by dying, as the veil seems to be a space/time artifact.

This accounts for the feeling of peak experience- the ‘high’ and the transcendental feeling that is obtained by the use of some psychoactive drugs… but the results can be disastrous when repeated with a brain that cannot integrate the tremendous amount of new data. Sort of like being hit by lightning… the body’s electrical impulses are wrecked by a higher dose.

The plan of the sub-Logos and Logos might have yielded different results, if not for some unexpected changes made by the Confederation. While preparing the Great Ape for the influx of souls from Mars, the mental abilities were given a sudden acceleration. This bit of genetic engineering made the entities arrogant – the veil and the extra abilities weren’t a good combination, though effective. In addition to the conflicts that arose from this (aided in part by the karma of the Martians) there also began the artificial pursuit of the ‘high’.

Probably the people most affected by this state of affairs have been the Wanderers. Migrating from another world, the veiling process comes as a tremendous jolt to the individuals who are used to accessing a much wider range of experiences. This has had a number of effects – the Wanderer in general feels highly disconnected from the world around and experiences a tremendous sense of insecurity, being new to the Faith/Connectedness chapter of the coursework. Secondly, any connection to the feelings beyond the veil was very attractive; hence the Hippie movement and drug use went hand in hand with the influx of Wanderers. The Veiling is not always very complete for Wanderers due to other concerns regarding their physical constitution, so many are most likely to probe ‘beyond the veil’ more easily viz. the Channelers, New Age healers, and some scientists.

As the transition to the next density takes place, the time of Veiling shall end. Individuals who progress to the last sub-density of the third (yellow vMeme) can start probing the veil, while Tier-2 thinkers can achieve better contact with the Alter-Mundi.
