Astro-Logos

The understanding of astrological information is usually fraught with one major difficulty: the lack of distinction between a CAUSE and a CORRELATION. If the train arrives after the clock chimes twelve, it is a correlation, and not a causal relationship; the clock does not cause the train to arrive.

The Earth, along with other planets (sub-Logoi), was literally ‘born’ out of the sun, and man being the sub-sub-Logos, has to work under the framework set up by the Solar Logos. In other words, both the Earth and the beings on it are directly influenced by Solar conditions. The so-called life energy or Prana is just ‘speed’ of the cosmic sector, hence the conditions affecting Prana also has a cosmic origin: cosmic electricity, or what we normally call MAGNETISM. Since we are dealing with a living being, which is caused by a linkage of material and cosmic sectors, a specific configuration is localized in space as well as in time. Hence, both the place and the time (of conception) are important.

The magnetic fields (and the electric fields too, e.g. solar wind) of Sol change their orientation with respect to the earth, in tandem with sun signs seen from Earth. What this means is that the celestial configuration is nothing but an extremely detailed clock, showing the precise orientation of the Sun’s electromagnetic field. No wonder the sun signs follow the solar magnetic cycles. The planets and the stars denote this CORRELATION of cycles and do not cause it.

The ‘template’ created by a specific space/time nexus serves as the basis for an entity’s life, rather like the actor who decides his costume before going onstage. According to the first Distortion of the Law of One, Free Will is paramount… influences of every kind are opportunities for exercising choice. Hence, one way in which the Antiquus utilized this was to book their calendar!
